ABOUT ME
I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist with a small private practice in Chicago that is focused on psychotherapy.
My background is in design. I completed a BS from Stanford in Product Design, after becoming interested in where form and function intersects with human needs.
After college, I worked at a technology start-up in Silicon Valley, with the plan of becoming an interaction designer, but unexpectedly fell into medicine, then seemingly back to my roots - psychiatry - trying to understand the human experience.
I obtained my MD at the University of Washington, followed by psychiatric training at Northwestern Medicine. I am currently pursuing advanced therapy training at the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis.
I enjoy working with people who are highly engaged in their treatment.
